Equine Alternative Therapy

Equine Musculoskeletal Unwinding  is the first step in starting to correcting postural imbalances.  Using soft yet very deep releases which are very effective in correcting gait abnormalities, saddle fitting issues, and mysterious lameness issues. This work addresses the cause of problems, whereas other modalities address only the symptoms.  This is not massage, acupressure or other basic modality taught everywhere else.   Soft gentle moves to manually release and keep the skeleton in proper form and function helping the body to load the joints and hooves correctly. Also deep muscle unwinding from the inside out has the horse presenting a body  sometimes 2″ taller, 4″ longer and they look as if they have gained 20 pounds after a 1 hour session.  Help in balancing Chakras, Meridians and Emotions. By releasing the 1st rib which is out in most foals by age 7 months we can start to correct the high/low syndrome in the hooves. Most professional modalities and holistic equine training courses do not address these issues so then you are always working on the ‘symptom’ and not the cause which is why the chiropractic issues come back.   The majority of training and behavioural problems are caused by pain issues in the horses body that are easily corrected. This results in a horse that is unwilling to switch leads, girthy or is a cold backed horse, unable to engage its hind end.

These sessions are perfect for any horse regardless of age, breed or discipline and will help to keep them healthy and sound.

Now that the horse’s body has been unwound and rebalanced from Musculoseletal Unwinding, the next step is to bring it back to proper form and function and 100% health and vitality.

Using Cranio Sacral we go deeper into the body to release the inner core muscles and Fascia. Fascia releasing helps organs to relax and glide internally as they should and the acupressure meridians come back into balance.  Cranial bones are released to correct stuck energy.

Many horses with Uveitis, Kissing Spine, Wobblers syndrome, and String-halt have had their lives saved or wholly altered.

These sessions are perfect for any horse regardless of age, breed or discipline and will help to keep them healthy and sound.

I work closely with the owner and welcome them throughout a session.  When the session is finished we go through the findings together, deciding what the next course of action is.  Does your horse need further intensive treatments, maintenance or he is good to go.  I go through the recommended yoga stretches to be worked on by the owner/rider in between sessions.

We’re not trying to sell you on our sessions. Instead, here are some clients that will do the hard work for us!

I was desperately looking for rehabilitation for my horse who was very sick and was losing hope he would ever be well again! Our rides were getting increasingly more difficult and I thought I would have to stop riding until we had a Body Work session with Cindy. He is now back to his old self and we are enjoying our rides again.
I highly recommend Cindy and Body Works!

Riley is a rescue dog that has had a lot of trauma in his life. Cindy has used the emotional code work to help Riley let go of his past. It is a work in progress and every week we see improvements!
Canine Client
Scarlette was generally sore, grumpy and frequently coliced. One body work session and I am a much happier horse. My tummy no longer gets upset!
